Britech is no newcomer to powder coating. We long ago made it the standard on all of our award winning restorations, our own Britech products, and as a key step in our remanufacturing process.
Powder Coating is an electrostatic coating, in that charged particles of powder are accelerated towards the workpiece. Once adhered, the coating is heated to a high temperature, causing it to melt and bond to the item. The result is a finish much more durable than traditional paint. Nowhere else are the benefits of powder coating more apparent than in the harsh conditions of motorcycling. Traditionally, chassis components are finished black in place of the original enamel, but there are dozens of different components on your vintage bike that can benefit from powder coating.
